About Pacific Headwear
Rooted in ambition & growing from humble beginnings
Pacific Headwear has experienced unprecedented growth over the past two decades. Starting during the summer of 1998, Don DeZarn set out to build Pacific Headwear into a leader within the team headwear industry. Housed in an old diaper factory with two employees, second-hand furniture, and a leased 12-head embroidery machine, Pacific Headwear opened its doors and answered the phone. The first order was from McKenzie Athletics for golf towels and by September 1998, the first cones of embroidery thread were used up. In December 1998, the first ocean container of caps arrived with three styles - the 101C, 201C, and 300WC
As a bootstrapped startup, the team’s fabric was woven from resourcefulness, the desire to win, and a commitment to having fun. It was all hands to the wheel regardless of the task. Often, the same employee would book an order, digitize, decorate, and deliver the hats personally. Pacific Headwear had arrived and the team was eager to exceed customer expectation.

Now entering its 20th year, Pacific Headwear operates internationally with retail and team distributors spread across the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Puerto Rico. Pacific Headwear employs over 200 people in Coburg, Oregon and South Boston, Virginia that are committed to every customer and every order with the same passion as its founder, Don DeZarn.
